Cookie policy.
A short, accurate description of the cookies set by this website. Last reviewed: April 2026. For background on how we handle personal information, see our privacy policy.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by the websites you visit. They are used to remember things — your language preference, whether you have already seen a particular banner, whether you are logged in to a service. Some cookies are set by the website itself ("first-party"); others are set by services the website embeds, such as analytics or video players ("third-party"). Modern privacy law requires that we ask for your consent before setting any cookie that is not strictly necessary for the website to function.
The cookies on this site
We set a very small number of cookies — fewer than most sites you visit — and almost none of them are third-party. The full list is below.
Strictly necessary cookies (no consent required)
cdg-cookie-consent — set by this site when you choose Accept or Decline on the cookie banner. Stores your consent choice so we do not show the banner on every visit. Value: accepted or declined. Lifetime: until you clear your browser’s local storage. Stored in localStorage rather than as a traditional cookie. Strictly necessary; set without consent.
session-id — set by the PHP runtime when you submit a contact form, to maintain the request context across the form submission and the redirect that follows. Lifetime: the duration of the browser session. Strictly necessary; set without consent.
Analytics cookies (set only with consent)
If you choose Accept on the cookie banner, we set a single first-party analytics cookie to record aggregated page-view information. We use a privacy-respecting analytics tool that does not track you across other websites, does not build a profile, and does not transfer raw data to any third party for advertising purposes. If you choose Decline, no analytics cookie is set and the analytics request is suppressed entirely.
_cdg_pa — set by this site when you accept analytics cookies. Stores an anonymous identifier used to deduplicate page-view counts. Value: a randomised string. Lifetime: 12 months.
Third-party cookies on the checkout page
When you proceed to checkout, you are redirected to Stripe’s payment page (checkout.stripe.com), which sets its own cookies as required to process your payment securely. Stripe is the data controller for those cookies and you can review their cookie policy at stripe.com/cookies-policy/legal. These cookies are set by Stripe directly, not by us, and we do not have access to their contents.
Changing your preferences
You can change your consent choice at any time. To do so, clear the cookies and site data for cleandesigngroup.com in your browser settings; the cookie banner will reappear on your next visit, and you can make a new choice. We do not retain any record of withdrawn consent beyond what is stored in your own browser. You can also block all cookies from this site entirely using your browser’s standard controls.
How long cookies last
Session cookies last only as long as your current browser session and are deleted when you close the browser. Persistent cookies last for the duration specified above and are renewed each time you visit the site, unless you clear them manually.
Cookies and your rights under GDPR
The consent we ask for on the cookie banner is the same consent referred to in our privacy policy. You have the right to withdraw that consent at any time, as described in the section above, and you have the right to be informed about how your personal information is used, as described in our privacy policy.
